'Counts Quarters', a Hunter 46, is an aft cockpit cruising boat with one owner since its purchase in 2000. It has spent most of its cruising life sailing between South Florida,The Keys and the Bahamas said to be one of the best cruising grounds in the world. It is an excellent shape and has been extremely well maintained by the owner. The spacious interior includes 1 cabin forward and 2 aft cabins, 2 heads, one with a shower and the main cabin has a seperate shower. The salon has a large seating area and table which can be converted to a double bed.The galley has a three burner propane stove with an oven and fridge/freezer

There have been many upgrades over the years. One of the first was to install a hard top and stainless steel dinghy davits. On the hard top and above the dinghy davits are 8 solar panels and an AirX Wind Generator to provide enough energy to maintain the electrical output that the boat uses on a daily basis. The system is controlled by an Outback controller and an 800 amp hour house battery bank.There is also a Northern Lights 5KW generator to back up the system and run the air conditioning.

The instruments in the cockpit have been upgraded to Garmin which include 4200 series chartplotter, GMR18 radar, wind and depth, speed through water, the auto pilot is a Raymarine but with a new display. There is also a VHF radio and a SSB with a Pactor modum at the nav station.

The sailboat has a Yanmar 75 hp engine with 3850 hours of running time and the oil is changed at every hundred hours of use .A new starter motor was installed this year. A 100 gallon Deisel fuel tank supplies both the engine and the Generator. There is a 2500 watt Freedom Marine 2500 watt Inverter to power the 110 volt system when the Shore power and generator are not in use.

Other equipment added is a new 12 volt Isotherm Fridge/Freezer added this year and a Spectra watermaker which produces 7 gallons an hour and has automatic backflush. The back head is a Vacuflush fresh water system and the forward head is a Raratan Electrascan fresh water system approved by the USCG for overboard discharge in most areas in the USA. There are 5 water tanks holding 200 gallons to supply the heads with plenty of water.
