This internationally acclaimed Admiral 38 Executive, a 39ft x 23ft vessel has almost completed a global circumnavigation as well as winning the trophy awarded to the first placed catamaran in the 2013 Miri to Labuan race.

It is an immaculately maintained glass fibre one owner vessel designed by Angelo Lavranos and built 2003 by a prestigious South African yacht manufacturer.

This executive sailing catamaran is presently cruising in ‘duty free’ exotic Langkawi/Malaysian ----- Phuket/Thailand regions.

It is offered for sale priced considerably below many other internationally comparable catamarans.It accommodates 2 Queen sized bedrooms and a double bedroom, 2 large bathrooms, 2 electric toilets, an 8 seat dining table in the saloon with additional extensive entertainment areas on aft and foredecks.

The modern galley, with stainless steel sinks and imitation light gray granite work surfaces is ‘galley up’ with oven, a large deep freeze unit and a separate refrigerator.

The spacious elegant saloon with 6ft 4 inches headroom rivals any Cat less than 50'. Its 23' beam creates stability and space far superior to many 40' Cats.

Electrical power is provided from a 12v 1040 amp battery bank 2015 supplemented variously by 3 engine alternators, solar panels, 3 inverters, a 40 amp 2015 electronic battery charger and 240 volt shore power connections. Water tank capacity is 530 litres contained in a high density plastic tank (base and wall thickness one inch) with baffles supplemented by a 25lt p/hr water maker.

Engine power is by 2 well maintained 27hp Yanmar marine diesel engines (5500 hour each engine) and sail drives fitted with new props 2012. Fuel tank capacity 530 litres.

Sails in good condition. Trampolines replaced new ‘April 2016.’ Extending from above saloon door to stern arch is a one and a half meter wide solid glass fibre platform to provide a safe working station whilst attending to the sails and boom.

Either side of the platform providing weather protection to the cockpit and stern deck is an extensive bimini replaced new April 2016. December 2015 vessel was ‘on dry’ to facilitate hull cleaning and ‘anti foul’ renewal. Sea cocks, anodes and sail drive seals were also replaced.

Navigation suite replaced 2012 includes Raymarine instruments, radar, chart-plotter, GPS, ST6002 auto helm. 1x Icom M304 VHF and 1x M710 marine transceiver and a CSB200 class B AIS transponder. A desktop IBM computer with Acer flat screen is also installed loaded to display Open CPN worldwide electronic navigation charts. Now included is a new 2016, 2.70m Hyperlon dinghy with 9.9 hp outboard.

Also new 2016 --- 50 metres x10mm US spec galvanised anchor chain and gypsy. Included is an 18ft Para-tech sea anchor system, EPIRB, 6 man life raft and many other life support essentials.

The vessel Plane Sailing presents in showroom condition and has been meticulously maintained. It has never been chartered or damaged in any way. Reason for sale is quite simply to return to our family in South Africa.
