"CONQUISTA" is a forty five foot center cockpit auxiliary sailing yacht, production built of moulded glass reinforced plastic (GRP) in 1973 by Columbia Yacht Corp.
She's a masthead ketch rigged with a four cylinder diesel engine as auxiliary.
The hull has a raked stem, round turn of bilge, moderate fin keel, skeg mounted rudder and counter transom stem.
The interior layout consists of a forepeak cabin with V berths and chain locker, followed by port side enclosed heard and galley opposite convertible dinette; next up steps the salon with moveable furniture, centre line companionway to canvas enclosed cockpit with pedestal mounted wheel and engine controls and port side passageway to aft cabin containing enclosed head with stall shower, hanging lockers and double berth aft.
Access to the machinery space is through hatches in the salon sole.
