If you want to be totally self sufficient and appreciate quality and attention to the finest detail, then you'll love Empty Pocket. She's more than a perfectly equipped and built boat - she's a work of precision and beauty, craftsmanship, a functioning piece of art!
"Everything" on this boat has been recently replaced or rebuilt to the highest standards! Money was no object!!

This is the script from the prior owner.
Empty Pocket is not a typical Hunter 25.5, it's been refitted for cruising and owned for the past 20 years by the founder of Solar Stik, Inc. (a marine and military power company).

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Year: 1984;
  • LOA: 26';
  • Beam: 9'3";
  • Draft: 3'7";
  • Mast Height: 34' from water;
  • Tonnage: 5500 lbs;
  • Cruising speed - sail: 6 knots;
  • Motoring speed: 6.5 knots;

Empty Pocket has been continually refined for nearly 20 years, using two reference points:
  1. The experiences of full-time cruising;
  2. The goal of being as self-sufficient as technology and design will allow.

She is built to be as "Maintenance-Free" as is possible while underway, but also provide the comforts and amenities normally found on 45' yachts.
Empty Pocket is a much easier boat to handle, maintain, and cruise, at a fraction of the cost of a similarly-equipped larger vessel.
Empty Pocket's website from previous owner is below. Note that it states it is sold but that's from when I bought it.
