Tayana 37 Sailboat for sale $86000
Newer Tayana 37 (1998) equipped for blue water cruising. This is a great long distance cruising boat ready to head south. The legendary Tayana 37 is built to handle heavy weather with confidence while giving you a fast comfortable passage.
Designed by Bob Perry this 1998 MKII cutter is a proven passage maker and will take you anywhere you want to go. The Tayana 37 is known for its safety, stability and comfort making it a highly sought after blue water cruiser and her extraordinary storage and time-honoured spacious layout also make her an exceptional live-aboard.
This Tayana 37 has been gently cruised throughout the Caribbean and Central America for the past 5 years and spent the first half of her life in fresh water. Her experienced and knowledgeable owners have kept her beautifully maintained as shown by the varnished teak and beautifully appointed interior. Her decks are leak-free as, unlike most, she has FACTORY glass decks proven by the diamond pattern non-skid.
She is equipped for all climates with a forced air Espar diesel heater for efficient heat under sail or at anchor as well as a marine air conditioner so you can keep your cool. Well ventilated with 9 opening ports with screens, and beautiful butterfly hatch you’ll never be without a breeze. She has a full complement of sails for cruising in anything from light air to heavy weather conditions. She is energy self-sufficient with enough solar and wind power to run all the lights, equipment and keep the drinks cold at anchor.
Other highlights include: 50 HP Yanmar with 1700 hours, strong under deck autopilot, huge v-berth, separate shower stall, 7 ft settee, large quarter berth, galley with large 12v refrigeration and 3 burner propane stove with oven and broiler.
We are downsizing and would be willing to take a 28 to 32 foot coastal cruiser in part trade. She is on the Hudson near Albany.
