Warship in Annapolis MD
My Benteau 311 'Warship' is a 32' single hull sailboat which my son and I purchased in 2015 from a broker in Annapolis, Maryland. We had the boat surveyed prior to purchase and the surveyor determined the market value to be $56,000. Above are pictures taken by the surveyor of the boat on stands in Annapolis and views of the interior of the cabin.
We purchased the boat, which was then called Andromeda, in April, 2015, and had it shipped by truck to Sailing, Inc. in Bratenahl, Ohio. It has been docked each season at Newport Marina, part of Shoreby Club in Bratenahl. It has been stored each winter at Sailing Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio, where all required maintenance has been done.
Two other photos above show 'Warship' at its dock at Newport Marina and at sail in Lake Erie just off the beach at Shoreby Club.
'Warship' is being sold as a result of my son buying a property in Key West and my own inability to sail the boat by myself. I have sailed only about six times in the past three years, and my son has sailed it several additional times, always within five miles of Shoreby Club.
