'Stormalong', our steel Van de Stadt Caribbean 40 fast all-latitude bluewater cruiser is fully equipped and ready to go. We've sailed her for 4 years from The Netherlands and now have come to the end our adventure in British Columbia, Canada.

'Stormalong', living up to her name in the open ocean

'Stormalong' has been fitted out for short-handed cruising. She was built in 1991 in the Netherlands and had an extensive refit 2016-2018. This included a complete new interior and exterior repaint, together with all new equipment, wiring and plumbing.

In 2018 we left Europe and sailed to Patagonia 2019, French Polynesia 2020-2021 and Canada 2022.
